Correction...
The measurements for the poster board for the biography project were incorrect. A standard size sheet of poster board is actually 22 X 28. If you have found an 18X24 sheet of poster board, or cut down a piece of poster board to the dimensions of 18 X 24 those projects will be accepted with no point penalty. Hopefully this will make the search for poster board easier. Sorry for the confusion.

Biography Project
Today your child should give you the project sheet for their biography project.
This weekend the students have been asked to think of three different people they would like to do their report on. Their choice can be living or deceased, but must be historically significant. I will approve a choice for every student on Monday, 5/19.
The students will need a 22x28 piece of poster board.
The project is due on Wednesday, 5/28/13. Parents are encouraged and allowed to help with the construction of the poster. Be creative! The students will do their research at school on Monday and Tuesday (5/19-5/20)
Starting on 5/28/14, the students will make a brief presentation about their chosen person. They will hold their posters up and "become" the historical person, explaining about their life and importance.
Here is an example of what the finished project poster will look like...
