No Spelling This Week

There will not be a spelling packet for the week of November 25, 2013.

FIeld Trip Reminder

Field trip money is due by next Tuesday, 11/26/13.  The original field trip letter letter says 11/29/13 but we won't be in school that day:).

Our first trip is to the Jacksonville Zoo on 12/12/13.  I am going to ask my students to think of their favorite animal at the zoo in preparation for a short animal report we will write.  The week of 12/3/13 will have an animal theme to it as we read the story "Two Days in May" about wild deer living in a city.  I am really looking forward to our "Animal Theme"!

Food Drive Update....

As of this morning, 11/21/13, our class has brought in 106 items for the canned food drive.  We have already filled up three boxes!  Thanks for your generosity!

This Week...

Wednesday, November 20, 2013 is an early release day.

Don't forget the canned food drive (continues to 12/6)

Student Council is also sponsoring the Mr. Rogers Sweater Collection.  If you have any gently used sweaters or coats to donate, there are donation boxes located throughout the building.
