All students have completed there i-Ready diagnostics.  This means the i-Ready lessons are unlocked for students to do i-Ready at home.  This is an excellent program to help improve reading skills.  The students get to do it during their center rotations in class, as well

FCAT EXPLORER

The State of Florida offers an excellent FCAT resource to all third graders for free called FCAT Explorer.  This website offers the best example of the types and styles of question that will be on the FCAT.  FCAT Explorer is designed to be visually exciting and enjoyable for student use.

I strongly encourage all of my students to log-on and work on FCAT Explorer for at least three, 30 minute sessions per week.  This is an excellent use of computer time!

It's easy to log-on, here's the instructions:

• Log-in:Students full last name and first initial:  smithj
• Password: The number 16, the first 4 letters of the last name, birth month, birth date: 16smit0808
• Click on "Galactic Library" (the third grade module)
