This week we are reading the story
Across the Wide Dark Sea by Jean Van Leeuwen. It is an example of the historical fiction genre. The story is about a young Pilgrim boy who travels with his family on the Mayflower across the Atlantic Ocean. Once in American his family faces the trials of starting a new colony.
